In 1995 a group of like-minded gardeners got together to form BIRMINGHAM ORGANIC GARDENERS (BOG). The aim of the group is to provide information, support organic gardening and to promote the benefits of eating organic fruit and vegetables. For those with flower gardens, BOG values the knowledge that only nature has enhanced the beauty of the rose and not chemical sprays.
The group meets on the third Wednesday in every month (excluding August) at Dame Elizabeth Hall, Firbank Close, (off Oak Tree Lane) Bournville, Birmingham B30. Note alternative venue for July ‘Summer Social’ event.
Whether you are an inexperienced gardener or an expert you are welcome to join us, subscriptions are £10.00 single and £15.00 family membership. There is an entrance charge at monthly meetings of 75p for members and £1.50 for non-members.
This is a brand new site provided to Birmingham Organic Gardeners as part of their membership of the TCV Community Network.
